I am a lifelong Queens resident and public servant for over twenty five years. I am currently the District Manager of Queens Community Board #2 as well as Democratic State Committee Member in the 26th Assembly district.
I worked in the Mayor’s Office of Community Assistance for two previous mayors. My service in the Mayor’s office and city government has shown me how the City of New York and Queens operates. My mentor, the Late Former Queens Borough President Claire Shulman, taught me how the power of government can be used for good on behalf of the people of Queens County.
We currently find ourselves in one of our City’s most challenging times. However, with great difficulty comes even greater opportunity. Now is when Experience Matters more than ever. We need to elect capable and sensible leaders to go to City Hall and fight to bring home the resources our district needs. I am running for City Council because I believe I am that leader.
